Forward-Thinking Design Solutions
At RTG, our top priority for every project is to get you safely from point A to point B. Doing so requires us to look at the ‘long game’ for a roadway corridor, understanding future development and traffic impacts to determine a design that accommodates both the current needs and future demands on the system. Our engineers perform feasibility studies to look at the current, interim, and ultimate improvements needed; route location studies to determine the most viable alternatives for the location of the corridor; and traffic studies utilizing existing traffic data in order to project future traffic patterns. Using these tools our designers develop preliminary corridor design alternatives for evaluation, and final recommended geometric schematic deliverables to our clients.
Our experienced team of project managers and engineers have accumulated considerable experience assisting our clients with effective public outreach as required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). RTG’s public outreach skills range from one on one conversations with the public, to preparing crisp renderings and 3-D visualizations to help convey project needs, major constraints, and effective solutions.
Our engineers have extensive knowledge and diverse experience on a variety of both urban and rural roadway projects, from start to finish, and apply this expertise to providing safe, efficient, and effective transportation solutions.
